Cledus T. Judd is
back
and better ('funnier that is') than ever, with his
forthcoming CD, "Polyrically
Uncorrect" on E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records),
release date June 30, 2009.
Brooks
& Dunn, Daryle Singletary, Ashton Shepherd, Colt Ford and
Jamie Johnson & Terry Eldredge from The Grascals make guest
vocal appearances on
Cledus' fun new release. "Polyrically Uncorrect" promises to have you
in stitches with laughter, yet delivering great vocal and music tracks.
In January of this year, Judd released the single "Waitin' on Obama" (a
parody of Brad Paisley's "Waitin' on a Woman") referencing Barack
Obama's election as President of the United States. This is the first
single release from Cledus' "Polyrically Uncorrect" album and is
accompanied by a video that was released on inauguration day. You can
view the video in the widget below on this page.
After a three year break from recording, Cledus says; "I've had a great
time during my radio detour and will continue to make strides in the
broadcasting world, but returning to originally what brought me to town
is key." "It's time for America to start laughing again, and I hope
they can begin laughing with me."
"When
Cledus called me a told me the idea about Waitin' On Obama, I
knew we had to get in and cut it," said Chuck Rhodes, Director of E1
Music/Koch Records Country Division. "We went from words on a page to
finished product out the door in about two weeks. It's great to be back
in business with one of the funniest guys in country music today."
